Ann works for the European Commission in Brussels in the department for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion. She heads a team working on social and inclusive entrepreneurship and social economy, developing both policy and innovative funding support. She has worked for the EU institutions for over 20 years on a range of EU policies and funding programmes. In 2019 she was awarded the “Outstanding Public Social Intrapraneur of the Year Award” by the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship. In 2021 she was included as ‘One of the top 100 women in social enterprise’ by Euclid Network.
